This smells very nice. The rose fragrance really comes through but not in an overwhelming way. It's light and youthful while still having that special something that the original Maya Base has. I have a perfume that is okay, but I rarely wear because it is just not quite right. I layered it with the original base and the No.2 and wow! It suddenly came to life and I really like it now! I always layer the original base with everything and constantly get compliments no matter which fragrance I have on. It's like magic! I have a feeling that this No.2 will help fix several rarely worn fragrances. For reference, the No.1 is not really for me so if you feel the same, don't be afraid to try the No.2. It can be worn alone if you are looking for something very soft. I'm giving it 5 stars as a layering fragrance.
